Custom Templates
A Custom Template captures a Machine at a specific state in time, making it possible to deploy new machines from this template.
Overview
A custom template can be created from an existing machine. The custom template contains the entire disk image of the original machine. Once a template has been successfully created, it appears as a custom template in the Templates tab in the console.
Templates are region-specific. You can only use Custom Templates from within the same datacenter region where the template was originally created.
There are some additional steps to create a Template from a Linux machine. To create a Linux Template, please follow these instructions.

Custom Template Pricing
Custom Templates are billed per-second. Pricing is listed per month based on size:
